Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
This seminar aims to introduce the concept of scientific translation in general, with some emphasis on the context of English-Kurdish scientific translation. Scientific translation has always played a pivotal role in the circulation of knowledge across the barriers of language, space and time. historically, the Kurdish culture does not have a rich product of scientific translation. However, the contemporary role scientific translation has better been recognised. With the progress of scientific translation, the language of science itself develops. Hence, it’s crucial for the academic institution, government agencies and universities to pay a particular attention to the process of scientific translation.
